What this website stores
Net Insight is part of the Sitefarm tool collection. Tools are available without registration. If you create an account, the shared account service stores your username, a salted password hash, a hash of your recovery key and your creation time. It does not collect an email address. Passwords and recovery keys are not stored in plaintext.
Login sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies with a seven-day lifetime. A short-lived cookie verifies cross-site sign-in. Cookies are scoped to each website; a one-time sign-in flow connects the sites to the same account. Signing out invalidates all of your sessions across the collection. Expired session records are removed during routine request cleanup.
Saved projects and local tools
Saving a project is optional. Saved records contain your chosen title, the tool address and selected input settings. They remain until you delete them or delete your account. Print tools process uploaded photographs and generated artwork locally. Uploaded images are not included in saved projects. Calculators read their inputs in your browser and do not automatically upload their results.
Network queries
If you use the IP tool, the queried public address is sent to ipapi.is for location/ownership and proxycheck.io for reputation signals. Cloudflare may provide request-location metadata for your own connection. DNS queries are sent to Cloudflare and Google public resolvers. Their policies apply to those requests. Reports are returned to your browser and are not automatically stored as account projects.
Feedback and infrastructure
The feedback form stores the site, category, message and submission time for the operator. Do not include passwords, recovery keys, personal documents or payment data. Feedback records are eligible for deletion after 90 days during routine cleanup. The form does not collect contact details or promise a reply.
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes network request metadata to serve it. Rate limiting uses short-lived hashed keys derived from a request address or account identifier. Infrastructure logs may be subject to the hosting provider’s retention policy. This application does not currently enable advertising or analytics scripts; an advertising integration would require a policy update before activation.
Your choices
You can use core tools without an account, download reports locally, remove saved projects and delete your account from the account page after confirming your password. Account deletion removes the account’s sessions and saved projects. Submitted feedback is separate, so retain its reference number if you need to request its removal through the contact form.
The service has no email recovery channel. Store the recovery key shown at registration privately; losing both your password and key means this self-service recovery flow cannot restore access. See the terms for tool limitations.
